100 Wardour Street
On Saturday the 8th, after the theatre, we then went for dinner at 100 Wardour Street, we were greeted in the bar and sat down on their comfy couches for a cocktail while we waited for a table, we then got escorted downstairs to the restaurant and club to our seats, we were fortunate enough to be right in the middle opposite the stage where a live band was set to perform for the rest of the evening! We were handed our menus and were on our way... first we ordered still water (being optimistic) then we had a look through the wine menu and we all agreed on white wine for the duration of the meal so ordered a tasteful bottle of Rioja Blanco which turned to 2 then 3 then... ok you get the point >.< ... the waiters were on hand and never let our table be messy or a glass be empty and they were very polite, just what you'd expect from a London restaurant, so as we settled into the menu, I decided on the crispy squid to start, lamb for mains and raspberry sorbet for desert (you'll see a lot of that on my blogs - it's my fave) and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious, we were all gushing about how happy we were with our dinner and for once I wasn't a fuss pot and enjoyed everything exactly how it was given to me!! Amazzzzing. The live band started and our time at our dining table was over but we told the waiter we didn't want our evening to end there so they gave us a bar table at the back of the restaurant so we could enjoy the entertainment and dance the night away. The band was great (from at I remember) they had the vibe and music choice perfect, we were all singing along and everyone was out of their seats enjoying themselves! There's nothing quite like live entertainment! The club the turned into a 'sintillate' event and from there everything's a blur! But over all I had such a good night and paid for it until late last night so if you want a good night out in London where you can enjoy your food and stay in the same place.. 100 Wardour is your go to, for sure!
P.s you must try the 'Love in a Cage' cocktail, it's to die for mmmm
