Quaglinos - London
Quaglino's is one of my mothers favorite restaurants, it's the place shes always spoken so highly of and a place my parents took me to when I was little, I have been saying I'll take my mum for Q brunch sometime soon and already I can't wait to write about it! My fist experience as an adult was when Ben and I went to Quaglino's with his family for a joint birthday celebration. It's a shame I didn't get any more photos but it really wasn't the type of place you wanted to whip your camera out and get the money shot. However the restaurant it's self was absolutely stunning, you walk into the bar which takes you to the grand stairs, leading you downstairs into the most amazing dining hall, I felt like I'd just stepped into a cabaret or a 20's swing bar! With a live band and DJ on a Saturday night it's what dreams are made of! I had Shellfish bisque & beignet, saffron aioli, crostini to start and a 40 day aged Angus rib-eye, 300gr steak to finish! Ahh the food was unbelievably good. I wasn't drinking that night so water was fine for me garnished with a lemon. then once we had finished our meal we got up to dance and sing along with the band, it was the perfect night!
