Aqua Shard - London

I had visited the Aqua Shard for my 18th birthday a few years ago and ironically we were the first paying customers to eat there, which I think is pretty cool. But Ben hadn't been to the Shard before so we decided to go for Brunch at Aqua on Sunday the 30th April since my Sunday's had been tied up in acting classes since September, it was like a mini celebration. It was a set menu but we were happy with the choice, naturally I went for the lobster eggs Benedict, the egg was literally poached to perfection and the lobster was ridiculously flavorsome; and Ben had the duck salad to start. For mains we both went for the lamb hoggart roast and it was to die for! Their own made mint sauce and little gravy pot were the perfect compliments to this dish and the Yorkshire pudding was literally the size of my head!!! For desert I had the raspberry fool and Ben had the sticky toffee pudding and we shared so we both could have a taste, they were so yummy! The whole experience was lovely however first being seated at a middle of the room table we were not overly impressed but after asking for a window table the waiters were happy to assist and moves us as soon as one became available which we couldn't have asked for more. Oh btw make sure you try their mango and passion fruit smoothie, it is such a fresh and summery drink and goes down so smoothly, mmm. If you want a Sunday well spent, overlooking London's skyline then Aqua Shard is the place to go
